Victoria Charles-Saker ~ Artistic Director
Victoria Charles-Saker BA (Hons) has been involved within the Theatre Industry for many years; she specialises in Theatre Workshops for young people and has worked in several Theatres/Theatre schools in the local area.
Teaching, Directing, Script writing and Show Management.
Her passion for Theatre stemmed from her school years being involved in everything within the Arts. She then joined Ipswich Operatic and Dramatic Society’s First Stage and then The Appeal Theatre Group.
She went on to study for a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Essex; this not only confirmed her passion for Theatre but also introduced her to Playwriting where she found she had a flair for creating original works. Victoria now writes for various Theatre Schools enabling them to stage fresh, New Theatre accustomed to their requirements.
Working within Theatre Management allowed Victoria to be involved within two of the area’s most flourishing Theatres: The New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich & The Mercury Theatre Colchester. She went on to become the Children’s Drama Practitioner at the New Wolsey Theatre for two of their drama youth groups and then to other local Theatre schools as a Drama Teacher, Script Writer & Director .
She has taught in several mainstream schools as well as various other Educational settings as a Theatre Practitioner and private drama tutor.
With a team of highly skilled Theatre Industry Professionals, Victoria decided to launch The Theatre Emporium and inspire young people to pursue the wonderful world of Theatre.

“I founded The Theatre Emporium because I believe in the power of imagination within young people – they have bundles of it just waiting to be explored.
